Upgrade the Mercury outboard with the brand-new SEI/Mercury gearcase. It is designed for 1994-2018 V6 200, 225, and 250 HP 3.0L engines. The model is for 8- and 13-spline driveshafts, providing flexibility for various engine configurations. The New SEI gearcase uses a metal water pump with dual water pick-ups.
You will need a two-piece driveshaft when replacing an 8-spline driveshaft unit. The upper driveshaft/coupler is sold separately and must be sourced from an OE Dealer. Refer to the following part numbers to find the correct upper driveshaft.

Good people and great prices.
Ordered a lower unit and forgot to submit shaft length. They called to verify the length instead of an email, which I liked alot. Product came in, installed and works well. I'll do business with them again for sure.
