This SEI Marine External Line Trim Cylinder is a direct replacement for Mercruiser Alpha 1 sterndrives (1972–1991).
Designed to fit either port or starboard, it replaces OEM part numbers 32-87234, 32-87235, and 87173A5.
This trim cylinder features two hydraulic hose connections — one located at the front and one at the rear of the cylinder.
Constructed for smooth hydraulic actuation and corrosion resistance, this SEI replacement provides reliable trim and tilt operation for older Mercruiser systems.
Note: Not compatible with models using single-hose or dual front-hose cylinders.

Additional Information

If your existing trim cylinder has only one hose, or both hoses connected at the front, this model will not fit without purchasing the proper rear hose connection.
Each drive requires one port-side and one starboard-side cylinder.
For best results, replace in matched pairs.
